How to care for your new brows:

-
Apply a very thin layer of ointment after all the cleansing is complete. (Provided only for Powder Brows)
-
Following the next morning proceed to wash the area with a mild antibacterial soap, air dry and apply a bit of ointment. In the evening clean eyebrows with spring water moistened pads, let air dry and apply a bit of ointment. Repeat this process for 7-10 days

After all scabbing has flaked off, wash the area with mild antibacterial soap and continue to moisturize as needed. Please do not avoid permanently washing your brows after healing has finished, doing so may cause dandruff or dead skin build-up.

-
Avoid touching with fingers, sunscreens, direct sunlight, tanning beds and self-tanners on pigmented areas.
-
Avoid swimming pools, oceans, hot tubs, saunas and hot steamy showers. Shower with back to shower head to avoid water, shampoo and conditioner getting into pigmented area.
-
Avoid dirt (as in gardening), extreme perspiration for the first week to prevent infection.
-
Never use topical antibiotics unless given to you at time of procedure.
-
Use a good sunscreen daily, once fully healed.
Important Notes:
-
Your Brows/Lips can appear to be very dark to very light. The reason behind this is your skin has healed on the surface and a new layer of skin is masking the colour. It will be roughly 3 weeks before the colour has settled enough to see how much colour you have kept.
-
The approximate healing period is 14 days, however healing can be prolonged if your immune system is compromised if you are stressed or have a poor diet.
-
Keep in mind that in most cases some unevenness of colour is to be expected. There is a purpose to your retouch up to allow me to fine tune your enhancement. You must attend this appointment as your enhancement is not finished.
Long Term Care:
-
Use a good Sun cream, sun exposure will fade your permanent cosmetics
-
If you are planning a chemical peel, laser procedure or an MRI scan, please inform the technician of any permanent cosmetics
-
If you donate blood, it’s a Red Cross policy to wait one-year after any tattooing procedure
HEALING PROCESS

Days 1 & 2: The eyebrows/Lips are approximately 20%- 30-% darker and slightly bolder in width than they will be when healed. There may be some slight swelling and soreness at the site, this will subside. Exfoliation, which begins in a few days, will cause excess pigment surrounding the eyebrow/lip procedure to flake away and a narrower appearance will result. New skin will heal over the pigmented area and result in a softer appearance of your eyebrows. Don’t be concerned that your eyebrows initially appear darker and heavier in size than you desire. This is all part of the process.

Day 3: Eyebrows/Lips start to itch, do not scratch. Lightly pat with a tissue in between if relief needed. Scab will start to form, area will look darker and wider than original work done, this is normal. Exfoliation begins.

Day 4: The skin begins to flake, peeling from the outside edges first. We cannot stress this enough for every procedure, please do not pick at it, doing so can cause scarring and premature loss of pigment

Day 5: Colour finishes flaking off and appears softer until it clarifies. Please note, in some cases after scabbing has flaked off, there might appear as if there is no colour, please allow the work to heal properly, colour will develop as it heals.

Days 5-10: The exfoliating process should be over and you start seeing the final colour. It takes up to 4 weeks to see the true colour through the healed skin.
